Alcatraz Sharkfest™ Swim
Course Details
- Water temperature is approximately 58 to 60 degrees.
- Wetsuits are recommended, but not mandatory.
- There is a separate division for swimmers without wetsuits or swim aids
(any kind of skin suits or high performance full body swimsuits are scored
in the wetsuit category).
- There is a 75 minute course wide cutoff
If our swim staff determines that you are not on pace to complete the
swim in time to meet the cutoff, you will be picked up by a boat and
brought inside Aquatic Park or directly to shore.
- Sea kayaks will provide support during the swim.
