The scenic course may humble you, with its 1,880 feet of climbing and descending - but at the same time, the remarkable surroundings will energize you as you navigate the lush hiking trails of the Santa Cruz mountains. Along the course, you'll be shielded by redwood and oak forests and bordered by sprays of vibrant wildflowers. The climb will take you just shy of reaching Skyline Blvd. Who wants to be reminded of traffic anyway? At the turn-around aid station, you'll be able to fuel up for your descent back into Woodside. 5-milers turn around at an earlier point along the course. This is the half marathon that will rocket you towards your spring marathon goal. The event is limited to 300 participants so don't wait too long to register!
Race Packets
which contain your pre-assigned bib number and ENTRANT LETTER, will be mailed out to all paid participants beginning two weeks before the event. If you register within the last two weeks, a final mailing will be sent out the Tuesday prior to race day. If you don't receive your bib number by race day, you will be issued one race day morning. If you did not supply a valid mailing address when you registered, or if your mailing address has changed, please e-mail us at info@envirosports.com.
Parking
is $6 per vehicle for parking in Huddart County Park.
Aid Stations
There is only one aid station located at the Half Marathon turnaround (food, water, sports drink). The only aid for 5 Milers will be at the Start/Finish area. We highly recommended that you carry water.
Course Details
* Course will be marked with orange ribbon.
* Sorry, no dogs allowed in Huddart Park. Rangers will not even allow you to drive into the park with a dog in the car.
* And last, but not least, absolutely NO AUDIO devices (ipods, mp3, anything with headphones) allowed. You will be disqualified if found or reported wearing any audio device. We want to have a safe race.
