|You'll fall in love with San Francisco all over again as you follow this hilly loop trail circumnavigating Angel Island. Along the way, savor the panoramic vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the East Bay and Marin County. The 12K is a single loop. The 25K does the loop twice.

final mailing will be sent out the Tuesday prior to race day. If you

A special chartered ferry departs from the Tiburon ferry dock (21 Main St., Tiburon, CA 94920) at 8:00am. Athletes must take this ferry to participate in the race. No ferry from San Francisco will get you to the race on time. Ferries depart Angel Island for Tiburon every hour at 20 minutes past the hour. Encourage your friends and family to come cheer you on and enjoy a day on the island. Ferry fees for spectators:
$15 Adults & Seniors (ages 13 and over)
$12 Children (ages 6 - 12)
$5 Small Children (ages 3 - 5)
Free Toddlers (ages 2 and under)
$1 per Bike
can be found in Tiburon in a variety of lots from $4-16/day.
The only aid station is at the start/finish area. 25Kers will pass it once. We highly recommended that you carry water.
*Race starts and finishes at Ayala Cove.

*Wear your warm ups and bring your extra items with you on the ferry. You can leave these items in the picnic area at Ayala Cove while you run.
*Sorry, no jogging strollers allowed on the course.
* Sorry, no dogs allowed on the island or the ferry.
*And last, but not least, absolutely NO AUDIO devices (ipods, mp3, anything with headphones) allowed. You will be disqualified if found or reported wearing any audio device. We want to have a safe race.
